We have categorized the activities into the following sections: Rain,Rain Go Away

| Activity | Recommended Age |
| Musical instruments. Play music and dance, drum, play maracas etc. | 1 up |
| Dancing to music - they love their Kindermusik CDs and we play instruments to the music | 1 up |
| Freeze dance- when I turn the music off they stop dancing. Lots of fun and great way to burn energy! | 2 |
| Take the basket of winter hats, scarves, gloves, and ear muffs for them to play dress up. Simple and mess free! | 2 |
Crafter's Corner
| Activity | Recommended Age |
| Finger painting (just give them a few dabs on a paper plate and be sure to cover them up with an old shirt!) | 2 |
| Coloring with crayons on colored paper/white paper. Tip: use washable crayons. | 18 months |
| Gluing pieces of paper onto construction paper | 2 |
| Paint with water (they look like coloring books, but you use paintbrushes and water). We got them at a local toy store. | 2 |
| Play doh. You can use cookie cutters to make different shapes. | 2 |
| Make shapes out of salt dough. It's good for at least 2 days of fun. The first day, we roll and cut out the dough with cookie cutters and bake it. The 2nd day we paint. If I'm feeling extra brave, the 3rd day we add glitter and other embellishments. Grandparents love to get these little gifts in the mail. | 2 |
| Stickers- Try to get ones that say re-stickable, they are easier to peel off. | 2 |
| Thread dry noodles onto string to make a necklace. You can paint them beforehand | 2 |
| Paint each other with washable paints and then splash in the tub | 18 months |
| Making Greeting Cards -Using whatever you have available and depending on whatever is coming up (relatives' and friends' birthdays, holidays, etc.) make "cards" using their artwork. Much more personal than a storebought card. | 2 |
Celebrations

| Birthday Time Capsule: Have your twins draw a picture or write their name and put it into an envelope to open up on their next birthday | 2 |
